Is MRNA Gene Therapy? You decide.
a deeper dive into modeRNA and biontech from my research from April 9, 2021 plus links and other info on mRNA and why these products cannot be labelled as a "VACCINE"
Before I begin, I want to personally thank Dr. David Martin for his extensive research into the whole “great social experiment of 2020”. You, sir, have been a valuable asset in my quest for knowledge over the last 2 years and I will forever be grateful for everything you have done for humanity.
"...the mRNA vaccines are an example for that cell & gene therapy... If we had surveyed... Would you be willing to take gene or cell therapy and inject it into your body... We would probably have had a 95% refusal rate."

“Necessity is the mother of invention:” An adage was brought to life with the emergence of the mRNA vaccine against the backdrop of the foreboding and mercurial COVID-19 pandemic. Considering a negligible adverse-effect profile and a break-neck manufacturing speed, it shone bright as the ideal vaccine candidate. However, “all that glitters is not gold,” as was evidenced by the significant reactogenicity, a host of multi-systemic side-effects, that are being reported by the vaccine recipients; which is palpably resulting in a shift of emotions for the vaccine, accounting for vaccine hesitancy. Anaphylaxis, antibody-dependent enhancements, and deaths, comprise the most serious side-effects, albeit occurring in sparing numbers. Storage and transportation require fastidious temperatures, rendering it substantially inaccessible to a country like India. The biggest jolt, however, was the unfolding of the biases in reporting vaccine efficacy, as only the attractively high numbers of the relatively equivocal relative risk reduction were reported while keeping at bay the meager numbers of the more forthright absolute risk reduction.”
Many at the time didn’t know that modeRNA was not a vaccine manufacturer, they were a chemotherapy company for cancer. modeRNA (appropriately listed in NASDAQ as “MRNA” ;) ) founded by Flagship Pioneering in 2010 and utilizes mRNA molecules to cause a recipient’s own cells to express targeted proteins for a desired therapeutic effect. modeRNA claims that such therapies can be used to treat a wide range of conditions beyond infectious diseases such as COVID-19. They never had a vaccine ever or patent for a vaccine until 2019 which they filed in 2016.
FYI? Patent approval usually takes 22-24 months or longer depending on the complexity. Prioritized examination for plant & utility patents (Track One) is between 6-12 months (maybe). So, how did US Patent 10,720,600 get approval in 4 months and 1 week. Filed Feb 28th, 2020, approved July 7th, 2020. (1)
modeRNA and its investors have spent billions of dollars (2) on mRNA research and modeRNA has sought and obtained hundreds of patents (3) in the United States, Europe, Japan, and other jurisdictions to protect that technology, with several hundred patent applications pending. modeRNA has identified at least seven U.S. patents (4) that it alleges protect the subject mRNA-1273 technology, and has numerous patent applications pending, including dozens (5) in the United States alone.
On March 28, 2019, modeRNA, the poster child of the mRNA supposed vaccine, lodged an amendment to a previously multi-rejected patent. Included in that amendment were the following words: “Because of a concern for re-emergence or a deliberate release of the SARS coronavirus, vaccine development was initiated.”(6) These words and other factors indicate modeRNAwas aware of the planned release of the weaponized SARS-COV-2. Of the 210 vaccines which were part of Warp Speed, modeRNA was #1. They filed their 1st patent in 2010 with a goal to turn the human cell into it’s own pharma co. As mentioned above, their primary focus was Chemo drugs. However, their core tech came from a National Science Foundation grant and was published Aug 2009, 1 year before modeRNA filed its 1st patent.
Of the 140+ patents assigned to Moderna & 150+ patent applications which they initiated or conducted, they never produced a drug during since their inception in 2010. WHY? BECAUSE EVERYTHING THEY PRODUCED WAS NOT SAFE!!!! Moreover, they are violating the 1980 Bayh-Dole act in all of their patents and have been operating illegally since their inception.
Since 2005, DARPA gave $1.7billion for BioWeapons & Bio Preparedness through Fauci’s NIAID with the majority of that going to modeRNA. Fauci also put many non−compete and appropriated grants in which modeRNA received non−competing funds. In a nutshell they don′t have to prove or do any thing or even tell you what the thing is being used for. Think blank check.
Speaking of DARPA and modeRNA, one particular patent (7) assigned to modeRNA concerns methods and compositions that can be used specifically against coronaviruses, including COVID-19. The patent names a modeRNA scientist and a former modeRNA scientist as inventors, both of which acknowledged performing work under the DARPA awards in two academic papers.
WHAT ABOUT THE TRIALS?
Phase 1 = 21% adverse reactions.. From a global perspective? this would be the US population
Low Dose Group = 6% adverse reactions = 28million
2nd dose group = 100% reaction of some form.
95% efficacy? Where’s the raw data please. “Meanwhile modeRNA says 95 of 30,000 volunteers in its ongoing trial got covid-19: 90 on placebo versus 5 receiving the vaccine, leading both companies to claim around 95% efficacy.” (8) It doesn’t take a math whiz to figure out that we have been played. I did a little breakdown of the 95% efficacy here .
“The modeRNA COVID-19 Vaccine is a vaccine and may prevent you from getting COVID-19. There is no U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved vaccine to prevent COVID-19.” (9)
modeRNA actually claims that their devices are “gene therapy” and actually qualify, like Pfizer, as deceptive practices of making medical claims without clinic trial proof. 15 US Code Section 41 of the Trade Commission act, is the law on deceptive practices. The lack of completed human trials also puts these mRNA products at odds with 15 U.S. Code Section 41. Per this law,(10,11) it is unlawful to advertise “that a product or service can prevent, treat, or cure human disease unless you possess competent and reliable scientific evidence, including, when appropriate, well-controlled human clinical studies, substantiating that the claims are true at the time they are made.”
As of 2018, they were a Gene Therapy Company and still are. (12)
mRNA ‘Vaccines’ Fulfill None of the Criteria for a Vaccine Definition of Vaccine (13)
Immunity: Protection from an infectious disease. If you are immune to a disease, you can be exposed to it without becoming infected.
Vaccine: A product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but can also be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.
That’s the medical definition. The legal definition, in the few cases where it has been detailed, is equally unequivocal:
Iowa code (14) — “Vaccine means a specially prepared antigen administered to a person for the purpose of providing immunity.”
Washington state code(15,16) — “Vaccine means a preparation of a killed or attenuated living microorganism, or fraction thereof …” The statute also specifies that a vaccine “upon immunization stimulates immunity that protects us against disease …”
These definitions, both medical and legal, present problems for mRNA “vaccines,” since:
mRNA injections do not impart immunity. modeRNA and Pfizer both admit that their clinical trials aren’t even looking at immunity. As such they do not fulfill the medical and/or legal definition of a vaccine.
They do not inhibit transmissibility of SARS-CoV-2 infection. As such they do not fulfill the medical and/or legal definition of a vaccine.
mRNA Therapy Doesn’t Satisfy Public Health Measure Directive. There is another issue of whether a gene therapy can be mandated and this may hinge on it being accepted as a vaccine. Many will TRY and cite the 1905 Jacobsen case but this has been misinterpreted, it was about a $5 FINE FOR REFUSING THE JAB. Uninformed legal experts have argued that it’s acceptable for some individuals to be harmed by a public health directive as long as it benefits the collective.
Since mRNA therapies do not render the immunized person immune, and do not inhibit transmission of the virus, they cannot qualify as a public health measure capable of providing collective benefit that supersedes individual risk, and therefore cannot be mandated.
However, if vaccination is a public health measure meant to protect and benefit the collective, then it would need to accomplish two things:
Ensure that the vaccinated person is rendered immune from the disease.
Inhibit transmission of the disease from the vaccinated person to other individuals.
Back to the original problem that mRNA therapies for COVID-19 do not accomplish either of these things. Since these gene therapies do not render the person immune, and do not inhibit transmission of the virus, they cannot qualify as a public health measure capable of providing collective benefit that supersedes individual risk.
On the contrary, the only one benefiting from an mRNA “vaccine” is the individual receiving the gene therapy, since all they are designed to do is lessen clinical symptoms associated with the S-1 spike protein.
In other words, they won’t keep you from getting sick with SARS-CoV-2; they are only supposed to lessen your infection symptoms if or when you do get infected. So, getting vaccinated protects no one but yourself. Since you’re the only one who will reap a benefit (less severe COVID-19 symptoms upon infection), the justification to accept the risks of the therapy “for the greater good” of your community is blatantly irrational.
Here’s the problem: the primary end point in the COVID-19 “vaccine” trials is not an actual vaccine trial end point because, again, vaccine trial end points have to do with immunity and transmission reduction. Neither of those was measured.
Another problem : key secondary end points in modeRNA’s trial include prevention of severe COVID-19 disease (defined as need for hospitalization) and prevention of infection by SARS-CoV-2, regardless of symptoms.(17,18) However, modeRNA did not actually measure rate of infection, stating that it was too “impractical” to do so.
That means there’s no evidence of this gene therapy having an impact on infection, for better or worse. And, if you have no evidence, you cannot fulfill the U.S. Code requirement that states you must have “competent and reliable scientific evidence … substantiating that the claims are true.”
Making matters worse, both Pfizer and modeRNA eliminated their control groups by offering the real vaccine to any and all placebo recipients who want it.(19) The studies are supposed to go on for a full two years, but by eliminating the control group, determining effectiveness and risks is going to be near impossible.
What is Gene Therapy? Per MedlinePlus.gov’s page. (20)
“Gene therapy is an experimental technique that uses genes to treat or prevent disease … Researchers are testing several approaches to gene therapy, including: … Introducing a new gene into the body to help fight a disease …
Although gene therapy is a promising treatment option for a number of diseases (including inherited disorders, some types of cancer, and certain viral infections), the technique remains risky and is still under study to make sure that it will be safe and effective. Gene therapy is currently being tested only for diseases that have no other cures.”
The fact that there are many different treatments which have shown to fight off Covid-19, proves that it doesn’t qualify as a disease that has no cure. So why do we need a gene therapy jab? Short answer, we don’t.
But here’s what the FDA defines “gene therapy” (21)
“Human gene therapy seeks to modify or manipulate the expression of a gene or to alter the biological properties of living cells for therapeutic use. Gene therapy is a technique that modifies a person’s genes to treat or cure disease.
Gene therapies can work by several mechanisms:
Replacing a disease-causing gene with a healthy copy of the gene
Inactivating a disease-causing gene that is not functioning properly
Introducing a new or modified gene into the body to help treat a disease”
mRNA are molecules that contain genetic instructions for making various proteins. mRNA “vaccines” deliver a synthetic version of mRNA into your cells that carry the instruction to produce the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, the antigen, that then activates your immune system to produce antibodies. Then there’s modeRNA’s trial website,(22) where they describe their technology thus:
“Typical vaccines for viruses are made from a weakened or inactive virus, but mRNA-1273 is not made from the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It is made from messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA), a genetic code that tells cells how to make protein, which help the body’s immune system make antibodies to fight the virus.”
modeRNA describes its product not as a vaccine, but as ‘gene therapy technology’ in SEC filings. This is because neither modeRNA nor Pfizer make any claims about their products creating immunity or preventing transmission.” Additionally, modeRNA’s SEC filings specifically state that “Currently, mRNA is considered a gene therapy product by the FDA,” as well. (23a)
Here’s the 2020 SEC 10F filings for Biontech in which “gene therapy” is mentioned 22 times (23b)
Back in Feb 2021, MIT Technology Review looked into the history of mRNA tech with a particular interest in modeRNA, stating (24)
“Vaccines were not their focus. At the company’s founding in 2010, its leaders imagined they might be able to use RNA to replace the injected proteins that make up most of the biotech pharmacopoeia, essentially producing drugs inside the patient’s own cells from an RNA blueprint. ‘We were asking, could we turn a human into a bioreactor?’ says Noubar Afeyan, the company’s cofounder …”
Aug 2020 - Bloomberg reported that the modeRNA vaccine would seek to transform your body into “a vaccine-making machine”. (25)
May 2020 - NY Times reported that “Researchers at 2 Harvard-affiliated hospitals are adapting a proven form of gene therapy to develop a coronavirus vaccine” (26) I’ll say it sllllooowweeeerrr - A proven form of GENE THERAPY”.
To summarize: The definition of “genetic” is something relating to genes, and the definition of “therapy” is the medical treatment of a disease. The definition of “gene therapy” is the process of modifying or manipulating the expression of a gene, or altering the biological properties of living cells.
mRNA are snippets of genetic code that instructs cells to produce proteins. mRNA COVID-19 therapies “deliver genetic instructions into your cells,” thereby triggering your body to produce a fragment of the virus (the spike protein). So, mRNA vaccines ARE gene therapy. There’s simply no way around this. They fulfill all the definitions of gene therapy and none of the definitions for a vaccine.
So, why all of the misrepresentation? Easy. Experimental gene therapies do not have financial liability protection from the governments, but pandemic vaccine do, even in the experimental stage, as long as they have an EUA!!!!!!
The governments supporting this need a huge kick in the balls!!!!
